L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run/Walk

The Los Angeles Chinatown Firecracker 5/10K Run/Walk is the largest and longest-running Lunar New Year charity run in the United States.
41ST ANNIVERSARY RUN/WALK HIGHLIGHTS
– 5K scenic out and back run through the heart of Historic Chinatown, Dodger Stadium, and Elysian Park
– 10K scenic out and back run through the heart of Historic Chinatown, Dodger Stadium, Figueroa Tunnel, Angel’s Point, and Elysian Park
– Opening ceremonies with lion dancers and traditional lighting of 100,000 firecrackers
– Traditional Lion Dancers and warm-ups
– Firecracker Festival, featuring live entertainment, food, merchandise, arts/crafts, and attractions for spectators and participants
– Proceeds from the events are donated to local elementary schools and non-profit organizations
RUN/WALK PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE
– Ultra-soft commemorative short sleeve t-shirt
– Goodie Bag
– Free Carbo-Load meal (available on Saturday only from 10am-2pm)
– On-course water stations
– Refreshments available at Finish
– Trophy to the overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K runs
– Medal to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age division
– Finisher Medal
– One (1) free beer to all registered participants 21+ years of age
– Free bag check for Metro riders
– 5K and 10K runs are chip timed for fast & accurate results
