Susan Picardi
11 min/mile Pace Leader
How long have you been with the Pasadena Pacers? Since 2010.
How many marathons have you run? I’ve ran 18 full marathons, five 50ks, one 50-mile and too many half marathons.
Why do you run? Started to run as a stress releaser. Also, working 11 hours a day without seeing the sunlight, I was getting depressed so to combat this negative feeling I turn to running. It was the best decision I ever made.
Favorite post-run snack/meal? Depends on how many miles I ran. On a short run, just water and fruit (my favorite go-to fruit is watermelon). On a medium distance (6-10 miles), I like to drink protein shake. On a long run, I eat full breakfast (eggs, pancakes, fruit). After a race, I have a protein drink, and then I love having salmon and kale salad with rice.
Occupation: Candy/snack buyer, really!
Hometown: Hmmm…I was born in Korea and grew up in small town in MN. So, I guess I have two hometowns.
What do you do for fun? Spend time with friends.
Do you have a secret talent? I have a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Keith Bambacigno

How long have you been with the Pasadena Pacers: Five years.
How many marathons have you run: Five (Four Los Angeles, one Big Sur)
Why do you run? To stay fit, be outside, people, and food, of course!
Favorite post-run snack/meal: I love dim sum.
Running mantra: “I run to eat!”
Occupation: Technical Analyst for SCE.
Hometown: Temple City, CA.
What do you do for fun? Football (live and on TV), visit Kauai, live music, and karaoke
Do you have a secret talent? I can swing dance and I’m an avid foodie.
Anything else you’d like your fellow Pacers to know? I’m probably not the one you’d want to ask about eating right or nutrition, but if you’re looking for good, grubby, “comfort” food – I’m the one!
