Dear Pasadena Pacers Family,
We are deeply thankful for your strength, patience, and support in the aftermath of the Eaton Canyon fires that have so profoundly affected our beloved Altadena and surrounding communities. As we begin the journey of recovery, we are excited to announce that our free training programs will resume at Garfield Park, where we will continue our mission to inspire and empower each other through running and walking.
However, we recognize that the path to healing is different for everyone, and some of you may not yet feel ready to return to Garfield Park. Please know that your well-being and comfort are our top priority. If you feel that it’s not the right time to join us at Garfield, we warmly invite you to participate with our sister clubs—Azusa Pacers and Whittier Pacers—where you’ll find a supportive and welcoming community. Both locations are offering similar training programs, and we’d be more than happy to help you connect with them.
Whether you decide to return to Garfield Park, join another Pacer group, or take your time to find what feels best for you, we are here for you every step of the way. You are part of our Pacers family, and we will always support you on your journey, no matter where it leads.
Thank you for your continued dedication, resilience, and kindness. We look forward to running, walking, and healing together in whatever way works best for you.
With compassion and care,
The Pasadena Pacers Leadership Team
If you’re not yet ready to return to Pasadena, we want to remind you that the Azusa Pacers and Whittier Pacers will be meeting this Saturday, January 25. Both groups offer a supportive environment and are happy to welcome you to their runs. Whether you need a different location or just a bit more time, we’re here for you. Your journey is unique, and we support you every step of the way.
