How long have you been a Pasadena Pacer? 3 years
How did you become a runner, and how did you find the Pasadena Pacers? I’ve always enjoyed running. I ran my first LAM a couple of weeks before my 30th birthday, and I’ve been running on and off ever since. I found the Pacers in 2023 while I was training on my own. I would see them taking up the entire side of the bike path as I tried to make my way around them, lol. I eventually looked them up, and the rest is history!
Describe your pace-leading personality in three words: Steady, chill, and fun.
Every runner has one: What is your weirdest running habit, superstition, or non-negotiable? I don’t drink coffee before a run.
You’re at Mile 20 of the LA Marathon and things are getting ugly. What are you telling your runners? You’ve trained for this moment, and you are stronger than you feel right now! Just take it one step at a time. Trust your training, trust yourself, and keep moving forward. You’ve got this! Si se puede!
Choose your fighter: Hills, heat, rain, or 20 miles of flat pavement? Rain
What’s playing in your head during a long run? Nothing is playing in my head, just random thoughts and me telling myself: “You’ve got this. Si se puede. Finish strong.”
The aid station has magically stocked whatever you want. What are you grabbing? A peanut butter and jelly sandwich and water.
What’s your favorite post-long run reward? Long run = earned coffee, a cinnamon roll, and a delicious breakfast.
Finish this sentence: “If you run with my pace group this season, I promise…” Tequila shots!

How long have you been a Pasadena Pacer? 5 years
How did you become a runner, and how did you find the Pasadena Pacers? I started running in London straight after college many, many years ago to get fit. At the time I could not even run down the road to the local shop from enjoying college too much 🙂 I found the Pacers after COVID to scratch the itch of running with a club again after running on my own for too long.
Describe your pace-leading personality in three words: Chilled, supportive, and open

You’re at Mile 20 of the LA Marathon and things are getting ugly. What are you telling your runners? Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
